What Recruiters Look For

HVAC CVs must show your F-Gas category, system specialisations, and the scale of installations you have worked on. Commercial and industrial HVAC requires different emphasis from domestic.

Key Skills to Include

F-Gas certification (Category 1/2), VRF/VRV systems, chiller maintenance, BMS controls, fault diagnosis, refrigerant handling, commissioning, and electrical testing (18th Edition).

Common Mistakes

Not specifying the systems and manufacturers you are trained on. Daikin VRV and Mitsubishi VRF are different skill sets. List your manufacturer-specific training and system capacities worked on.

Formatting Tips

One page. Include your F-Gas category and CSCS card type. List manufacturer training certifications prominently. Mention system sizes and site types you work on.
