How does billing work?
Yes. $19 one-time. You're charged once. You own it forever. No monthly billing, no annual auto-renewal, no surprise charges. We don't even know how to charge you twice.
What if you raise the price later?
If you bought PRO Lifetime, you keep it forever, and anyone already subscribed keeps the price they signed up at. One purchase covers all future versions and features.
Are there limits on PRO’s AI?
PRO has generous daily fair-use limits: 300 AI chats, 80 ATS checks, and 80 cover letters per day, resetting every 24 hours — roughly 12× the Free tier. No credit packs, nothing expires, and normal job-search use never comes close to the caps. Full details in the Terms of Service.
Can I change my portfolio URL later?
No. Once claimed, your slug is permanent so your shared links never break. Choose carefully.
Do I need PRO for the live portfolio?
No. Free users get a livelink.cv/yourname portfolio with 3 themes. PRO unlocks 32 more themes, analytics, and lets you customize the portfolio template.
What about a custom domain or email?
We are not selling a domain and email bundle right now. Every plan still gets a public CV link at livelink.cv/yourname, and PRO adds 32 more portfolio themes plus analytics on top of it.
What payment methods are accepted?
Any major credit or debit card — Visa, Mastercard or Amex — through Freemius, our merchant of record, which handles VAT and your invoice. You can also pay with PayPal using the second button, and you do not need a PayPal account to pay by card there either.
Refund policy?
Full refund within 24 hours if you haven't downloaded a PDF or DOCX. After download, no refund — you have received what you paid for. Email refund@freecv.org with your order number.
I bought PRO before this pricing change. Am I still covered?
Yes. All previous subscribers have been grandfathered to PRO Lifetime — you keep PRO forever, with no further charges.
